My quest for COLOR
My quest for color expression began as a child. My mother bought me paints and gave me walls, barns, and even a travel trailer to use as a canvas. The basement was my first mural and my bedroom was a purple experience.
After receiving my undergraduate degree in Art Education, I began teaching elementary art. It was when I went back for my Masters degree at ISU that my life changed. While studying fiber art I discovered dyes for silk painting that offered strong, rich colors. I knew I had found the way to express myself through COLOR!
